Kingsley Okoli (ChMc) was born and raised in Nigeria and now calls Brisbane home. He holds a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Bond University and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland. Kingsley also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Uyo, Uyo Nigeria and is an overseas-qualified Chartered Mediator and Conciliator, accredited by the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.

Kingsley commenced his legal career in Queensland in 2023, gaining experience across criminal law, commercial litigation and dispute resolution before transitioning to personal injury law in 2024. In his little beginnings, Kingsley has worked in various roles, including as a Law Clerk in boutique and national firms, before being admitted as a solicitor and practising predominantly in compensation law. Kingsley now works as a Solicitor with the Longton Compensation Lawyers team in Brisbane, focusing on motor vehicle accident, Medical negligence, Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claims and Workers’ compensation Claims.

His role involves managing complex claims, liaising with clients, gathering evidence, and preparing matters to achieve the best possible outcomes. Kingsley is enthusiastic, and initiative- driven lawyer committed to delivering the best outcome.

In addition to his legal practice, Kingsley brings a strong background in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. His experience as a Chartered Mediator allows him to approach claims with a solutions-focused mindset, striving for fair and practical resolutions for his clients. He understands that personal injury matters can be deeply challenging, both legally and emotionally, and works closely with clients to guide them through the process with clear and informed advice. As such, Kingsley strives to ensure that client’s get the compensation they deserve and not what is worth.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Kingsley held leadership and management roles, including as Chief Executive Officer of his own business in Nigeria and as a Human Resources professional at Lagos Business School. These experiences have strengthened his ability to manage complex situations, communicate effectively, and advocate for others.

Kingsley is committed to balancing his professional career with community involvement and supporting people living with disability. He actively volunteers in his local church and community, dedicating his time to helping others outside of his legal work. His approach to practice combines professional excellence with a genuine care for people, ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and informed throughout their claims.
