Donald Tang is a solicitor at Longton Compensation Lawyers, where he specialises in Workers Compensation matters. He is committed to supporting injured workers through the legal process and ensuring they receive the compensation and support to which they are entitled.
Donald holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, graduating in 2023. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in early 2025.
Donald began his legal career as a paralegal in a general practice firm, where he gained broad exposure to a wide range of legal issues and client needs. He later joined a mid-tier firm, where he worked closely with a team handling matters before the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), developing an in-depth understanding of public sector accountability and investigative processes.
He went on to build further legal experience at a well-regarded boutique firm, where he spent the majority of his pre-admission period assisting in complex commercial and civil litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions. This diverse experience sharpened his legal skills and broadened his understanding of court procedure and dispute resolution strategies.
Since his admission, Donald has demonstrated a strong and consistent commitment to client advocacy. His exposure to a range of legal disciplines has shaped a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, underpinned by empathy and professionalism. He is passionate about protecting the rights of injured workers and works diligently to achieve just and timely outcomes for his clients.
