Veena is a dual-qualified, Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. In the UK, during her final year of university she joined a busy city firm, as a paralegal in the injuries team. Veena was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2015 and joined a leading plaintiff injury firm as their senior medical negligence solicitor for the Melbourne CBD office. She managed a large caseload and settled Victoria’s ‘first of its kind’, wrongful birth claims for a multi-million-dollar settlement figure.

Veena also spent time as a Knowledge Manager where she partnered with principals to lead the national knowledge management function of the largest plaintiff firm in Australia. She developed strategies and implemented systems as part of the Projects, Transformation, Technology and Digital teams. She was then headhunted as the Australian Knowledge Manager for a large global defendant firm where she built the knowledge function for Australia and managed regulatory compliance and best practice.

Veena remains passionate about providing high quality client services, great empathy and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
