Humera brings a unique international background to her work; originally from the United Kingdom, she now calls Melbourne home, completing her Bachelor of Laws in Australia, Humera was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2023. She commenced her career at Longton Compensation Lawyers as a valued legal assistant in a wide variety of personal injury law matters, including medical negligence, transport accident and workers’ compensation claims.

Humera has always been active in community building and brings a unique international background which allows her to represent clients from a diverse range of backgrounds. Her previous legal experience includes volunteer work at Refugee Legal, the Asian Australian Lawyers Association and the Australian Institute of International Affairs. During university, she was a mentor in the Deakin Business and Law mentorship programme, and she has also completed the Winter Course at The Hague Academy of International Law, these opportunities have allowed her to appreciate the law from a global perspective.

She was drawn to personal injury law as she is driven towards achieving justice and fairness for the most vulnerable members in our communities. Humera looks forward to actively working towards solutions for her clients and providing comprehensive legal advice to ensure her clients have equal access to the law and quality representation.
